history
Darius Eneea Mârza was born on 5 October 1985 in Cluj-Napoca, the only child of the family.
His mother, Carmen Maria, is a professor and department director at UTCN, author of 16 volumes and 114 published papers.
His father, Enea Magnoliu, an engineer and former member of Romania's Olympic mathematics team, today works in the management of Wonderland Resort.
His paternal grandfather, Simion Mârza, a graduate of three faculties, was Director at NAPOCHIM for 30 years. The family's best-known members are Samoilă Mârza and Ovidiu Hulea.
Faith as a
foundation
The entire Mârza family is baptized and married in the Orthodox Church. Since the birth of their first child, the Mârza couple attends Sunday services every week at the Greek-Catholic Chapel “Saint Joseph".
The couple frequently takes part in the conferences of all denominations that hold congresses within Wonderland — Pentecostals, Baptists, the Lord's Army, Jehovah's Witnesses, Reformed — open to understanding the spiritual precepts of every religion.
A fairy-tale
marriage
Darius Eneea Mârza has been married to Maria Ioana since 14 February 2009. It is the only marriage for each of them, and no member of the Mârza family across the last three generations has ever divorced.
The wedding was a deeply romantic one, held in secret — a surprise even for the couple's parents. The religious ceremony was held on a private boat on the River Thames, in London.
Maria Ioana (b. 19 June 1990) graduated from the Faculty of Law at UBB and is an event manager at Wonderland Resort.
All three girls are students at the “Nicolae Bălcescu" Theoretical High School in Cluj-Napoca.
